Services

  • Integrative counselling is an holistic approach that addresses the mind, body, emotions, and spirit as interconnected aspects of well-being.

Unlike traditional talk therapy, which often focuses primarily on cognitive and behavioural patterns, integrative or holistic counselling recognises that true healing requires a balance of all aspects of a person’s life.

Integrative or holistic counsellors work with clients to restore inner alignment, develop self-awareness, and unlock their innate wisdom for healing and transformation.

Integrative (Holistic) Counselling can help you to:

    • Identify thought patterns and beliefs that may be causing distress.

    • Explore emotional responses and past woundings to promote healing.

    • Recognise how emotions manifest physically (e.g., tension, fatigue, illness, chronic pain).

    • Encourage breath work, movement, meditation, or other grounding techniques to relax and restore balance.

    • Develop healthy lifestyle choices that influence emotional and mental well-being.

    • Explore deeper questions around purpose, meaning, and personal growth.

    • Understand how external influences (relationships, work, cultural expectations) can affect well-being.

    • Set boundaries and learn how to create a supportive, nurturing environment for your healing.

    • Encourage self-expression, creativity, and self-care as part of the healing process.

  • Reiki is a gentle yet powerful energy healing practice that works with the body’s natural ability to heal itself. Originating from Japan, Reiki (霊気) translates to “universal life force energy”—the vital energy that flows through all living things.

Reiki is based on the idea that energy imbalances—caused by stress, woundings, or emotional blockages—can lead to discomfort, illness, or a feeling of being stuck. By restoring energetic balance, Reiki helps the body return to a state of harmony and deep relaxation.

Various forms of energy healing have been used for millennia and across numerous cultures, and have been scientifically proven to help with:

    • Fatigue (low energy levels)

    • Stress and anxiety

    • Depression and other mental health issues

    • Insomnia

    • General emotional health and wellbeing

    • Muscular pain and tension

    • Headaches and migraines

    • Soft tissue damage (tendonitis, sprains and strains, arthritis)

    • Poor immunity

    • Inflammation

    • And more!

What Happens in a Reiki Session?

Your Reiki session will begin with a short conversation about your intentions or areas of concern. Whether you're seeking emotional healing, stress relief, or physical support, setting an intention helps guide the session.

The space will be quiet and calming, with soft lighting and soothing music can be played to enhance relaxation and the connection inwards.

You will lie down (fully clothed) on a massage table or sit comfortably in a chair. Whichever is most comfortable for you.

I will place my hands lightly on or just above different energy points on the body - chakras, meridians, or areas of discomfort. I act as a channel for Reiki energy, allowing it to flow where it is needed.

You may experience sensations like warmth, tingling, lightness, or deep relaxation. Some people fall asleep, or have emotional releases, or visions. You may even receive words or messages. What you experience during the session is exactly what you are meant to experience in that moment - it’s helpful to be open and free of expectations.

After the energy work concludes, there is time to reflect on your experience including any messages or intuition you received, as well as what may have come through for me.

To support energetic shifts, I encourage you to gift yourself extra time alone post session to unwind and integrate the experience.

  • The Menopause Alchemy Sessions

In ancient traditions and spiritual lineages, menopause is understood as a sacred initiation, a powerful transition into a new phase of wisdom, a phase marked by release, renewal, and self-discovery. It is a time to let go of outdated roles and beliefs, making space for deeper wisdom, empowerment, and personal liberation.

Yet, menopause in our culture is often framed as an ending—a decline, a loss of youth, a phase to be managed with a laundry list of “symptoms” to be medicated. It is shrouded in silence, and seen as something to fear and endure.

In popular media, menopausal women are often portrayed as irritable, overly emotional—bordering on irrational or even mad—leading to our experiences and thoughts being dismissed. Without a positive, supportive narrative surrounding this phase, it can feel like a loss of self-worth or societal relevance.

In The Menopause Alchemy Sessions I work with women to reframe the menopause experience as a holistic journey, acknowledging the emotional, physical, energetic, and spiritual dimensions of this transition—offering support, insight, and practices to help women reclaim their inherent power and wisdom.

My intention is to restore dignity to this passage by reframing menopause as a process of spiritual alchemy, we create space for renewal, vitality, and the freedom to embody our fullest, most authentic selves.

The Menopause Alchemy Sessions: A Six-Session Guided Exploration.

The exploration we will undertake consists of six transformative, 2-hour sessions. Through knowledge sharing, emotional processing and energetic healing, you will learn what menopause is for you and how to navigate it with grace, while cultivating a deeper sense of purpose and presence.

Through our work together, we will:

    • Learn what menopause is within a medical context.

    • Explore the wisdom and potential of menopause as a time of personal liberation and renewal.

    • Release old patterns and beliefs that no longer serve you.

    • Embrace your changing self with compassion, confidence and grace.

    • Discover deeper self-awareness and intuition.

While each session is individually powerful, it is the commitment to the full six-session journey that will create lasting transformation. Together, we will build a foundation of self-trust and insight that will help you navigate this sacred transition with dignity and reverence.

The commitment you make is a promise to yourself—to honour the natural cycles of the female body and see menopause as a process of self-evolution rather than something to be “fixed.”

Far from being an end, menopause is a powerful new beginning.

  • Compassionate care through the sacred threshold of dying.

As an end-of-life doula I support individuals and families who are navigating the tender space of death, dying, and everything that surrounds it.

Death is not something to fear — it is a natural, sacred part of life. Yet in our modern culture, it has become medicalised, hidden away, and often misunderstood. An end-of-life doula offers a return to something more human: a grounded, heart-led presence to help you die with clarity, sovereignty, and choice.

Whether you’re in good health and preparing for the future, living with a diagnosis or terminal illness, ageing, or approaching the final stages of life, we explore your values, your wishes, and what a meaningful death looks like for you.

    How I Can Support You

With a background in care work, specifically in palliative and active dying, as well and holistic healing, I offer individualised, non-medical end of life support that may include:

    • Early preparation: assistance with will writing, advance care planning, funeral wishes, emotional wills, or legacy work.

    • Living with illness: support following a diagnosis or through the challenges of ageing and life-limiting conditions.

    • Palliative care & active dying: personal care and advocacy alongside medical care, creating a sacred space at end of life.

    • After-death care: support for families in caring for the body, holding vigil, and honouring cultural or spiritual practices.

    • Funeral or memorial planning: guidance in creating meaningful ceremonies or rituals that reflect your beliefs.

    • Bereavement support: ongoing care for those left behind, holding space for grief and healing.

I also assist in navigating the health system, communicating with care providers, and helping individuals understand their choices and rights.

You remain the expert in your own life — I’m here to support you in making empowered, informed decisions.

You have the right to choose how you meet the end of your life, in a way that reflects your story and represents who you are in life.

About

Hi, I’m Amanda.

I was born in Wellington, New Zealand, and grew up with a deep connection to Mother Nature. My early childhood was spent barefoot in the bush and streams—catching eels, climbing trees, watching birds, and building forts. I had an innate love for the ocean, spending countless hours swimming and playing in the sand. I like to say I have salt water in my veins.

As a teen, I was both sporty and creative—excelling in netball and swimming, and totally immersed in the world of singing and performance. I was a self-proclaimed drama nerd, often found foraging through the high school costume department, creating characters and bringing them to life.

In adulthood, I channelled my energy into building a successful career in production. I started out in television, later moving into advertising, where I ran award-winning production companies and built production businesses within global agency networks. I was successful, accomplished—and very good at what I did.

But when I reached my mid-thirties, something shifted. On paper, my life looked great: I earned good money, and ticked all the boxes that my parents and society taught me if ticked would make me happy - but I wasn’t. I was anxious, depressed, chronically unwell, addicted to alcohol, and utterly and completely exhausted. I realised I had become really good at pretending to be okay, hiding how I was really feeling - even from myself.

  • Life had become so unbearable I was forced to look at myself and ask “why do I feel this way?”. Asking this question led me to remember experiences from my life that had caused me deep pain, pain I had been avoiding for years through my addictions.

I had a choice: to keep living in this quiet misery—or to choose something else. To choose happiness. I chose the latter.

That moment marked the beginning of my healing journey. A slow, transformative path inward, guided by practices and modalities that were tools for self-discovery, understanding, and ultimately, healing.

Through my own healing I have learned that I am not broken. That I am loving awareness and powerful beyond measure. I have learned that I have a purpose on this earth and I am exactly as I am meant to be in this moment. I am enough. I am whole.

Over the past decade, I have trained in a variety of healing modalities, including Reiki, Ashati energy healing, Integrative (Holistic) Counselling, Yoga, breathwork, and meditation. Additionally, I have completed specialized training in aged care, focusing on palliative and end-of-life support, as well as studies in End of Life Doula work. This diverse training equips me to be present with those navigating healing, as they move toward inner peace and happiness.
